The voltage output of a DC charging pile is mainly 380V and higher voltage levels, such as 500V, 600V, etc. DC charging piles usually use three-phase four-wire 380VAC as the input power supply, with a wide range of output voltage and power, which can achieve fast charging. Common DC charging pile output voltage specifications include:
380V: Suitable for medium-sized vehicles such as plug-in hybrid buses, with a power of about 20kW.
500V: The power can reach 30kW, 60kW, etc., suitable for backbone network charging stations on highways to meet the fast charging needs of large pure electric buses.
600V and above: Mainly used for high-power pure electric vehicles and electric buses, etc.
In addition, the output voltage and power of the DC charging pile will be adjusted according to the specific model and charging needs. For example, for micro cars with low power consumption, the required voltage is usually above 200V; while for larger models, the voltage requirement is in the range of 300~500V.
